The Baton Rouge location was opened in the final months of 2005 in response to hurricane Katrina's devastation. While the Metairie shop was spared, Darrin was forced to temporarily relocate to Baton Rouge for a time, and he took a chance on expanding the business further. The bet paid off, and the Baton Rouge location has been a solid performer since 2005 with no end in sight.
